Join us as we talk about lonely people trying desperately to connect and how remarkably compelling that can be, if also sad! In addition Bethany would like to take this opportunity to note that in the what we've been watching when Joel mentioned Charles Melton and they cheerfully said "Riverside Hive!" instead of Riverdale Hive, a shame that they will presumably never live down. However, they've left it in for you anyway.

Join us on a journey through (most of) the Toy Story universe. We discuss some of the truly existentially horrifying implications of parts of this world, how Woody is maybe actually a terrible father figure, and whether or not we had a favorite toy. But mostly we talk about how surprisingly enjoyable all of these movies are, in spite of there being 5 of them!

Bethany and Joel dive our way into some Mike Nichols work - his classic (rightfully) film The Graduate and also... another movie he directed called Day of the Dolphin whose most memorable and enjoyable element is it's tagline.
