概要
Divorced, beheaded, died, divorced, beheaded, survived! The queens are back, and they're ready to ROCK Detroit! The international musical sensation SIX is heading to Detroit's historic Fisher Theatre, and one of its fabulous new queens is stopping by The Roundtable with Robert Bannon to give us the royal scoop! Melina Savannah Cruz, who stars as Jane Seymour in the North American tour of SIX, joins Robert for a fun-filled conversation about the musical phenomenon that has taken Broadway and the world by storm! Fresh out of NYU's Tisch School of the Arts and making her national tour debut, Melina is stepping into one of musical theatre's most beloved roles. As Jane Seymour, she brings heart, soul, and powerhouse vocals to the queen whose emotional anthem, "Heart of Stone," has become a fan favorite. Together, Robert and Melina celebrate everything that makes SIX such a sensation, from its unforgettable pop-inspired score and dazzling costumes to its fierce female empowerment and the incredible sisterhood behind the scenes. Created by Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss, SIX transforms the six wives of Henry VIII into modern-day pop superstars, giving these historical women the microphone and the opportunity to tell their own stories. And with a brand-new touring company bringing fresh energy to the Queendom, there's never been a better time to experience the magic! Melina shares her excitement about joining the production, taking on the role of Jane Seymour, and bringing this extraordinary celebration of music, history, and girl power to audiences across North America.
