  • Bad Decisions Agents Make (A Legal Perspective) w/ Trista Curzydlo
    2026/06/23

If you're about to hand over a lockbox code to an unaccompanied buyer or mount a legal defense based solely on what ChatGPT told you -- stop and listen to this episode first.

Matthew and Kimberly are joined by lawyer and real estate educator Trista Curzydlo for a hilarious and eye-opening discussion about the bad decisions agents make that could land them in ethical or legal hot water.

Housing violations, security snafus, and the misuse of AI -- you might think that only the bottom-of-the-barrel agents commit these types of infractions, but even highly capable and ethical agents can make errors when they don't have the right information.

Trista Curzydlo is a graduate of Washburn University and Washburn University, School of Law, where she was a member of the Washburn Law Journal. After serving as Assistant Legal Counsel to Kansas Governor Bill Graves, Trista joined the office of the District Attorney for the Eighteenth Judicial District of Kansas as an Assistant District Attorney assigned to the Consumer Fraud division. For six years, Trista was the Government Affairs Director and Legal Counsel for the Wichita Area Association of REALTORS® and the South Central Kansas MLS.

  • The Engine That Powers the American Dream w/ Colin Mullane
    2026/04/12

As NAR's 2026 First Vice President, Colin Mullane brings a unique viewpoint to his role that is shaped by 27 years of active experience as a broker-owner who still lists and sells property. That combination of boots-on-the-ground practice and high-level leadership gives him a perspective that's equal parts strategic and practical.

In this energetic conversation with Matthew and Kimberly, Colin is just as comfortable unpacking NAR's role as the country's largest and most bipartisan lobbying force as he is talking shop about the day-to-day realities of running a real estate business.

Listen in to hear more about Colin's journey from Limerick, Ireland to Ashland, Oregon, how agents can stay ahead of clients using AI to second-guess their advice, and why he thinks of NAR as an engine that can drive homeownership and advocate for the benefit of consumers.
