A backpacker, a policewoman, a hitman and an entrepreneur walk into a bar and the bar woman said…

There’s no food here and beware the moon and stay off the moors.
Yes it wasn’t the most welcoming place and not the most amusing joke but, we have a highly amusing and entering show for you to enjoy this week. So Meet Me In The Foyer where Linda will meet you in the snug and by candle light divulge tales and legends passed through generations… or that she’s seen some new films at special preview screenings and can share them with you our fortunate followers.

First off it’s what sounds like another trilogy jokes, ‘your mum’ jokes in fact as Linda reviews Your Mother Your Mother Your Mother from director Bassam Tariq starring Mahershala Ali, John Cho, Giancarlo Esposito, Abubakr Ali, Tramell Tillman, Tiffany Boone and Laith Nakli. Then it’s time to log on for Linda’s second review as she checks the status of Aaron Sorkin’s The Social Reckoning starring Mikey Madison, Jeremy Allen White, Jeremy Strong, Bill Burr, Wunmi Mosaku, Betty Gilpin and Billy Magnussen. Finally Linda opens the filing cabinet of criticism to go over Dominik Moll’s Case 137 starring Lea Drucker, Jonathan Turnbull, Mathilde Roehrich, Guslagie Malanda and Stanislas Merhar.

All this before Jawa brings your attention to a sighting of An American Werewolf In London brought to our shores by director John Landis starring David Naughton, Jenny Agutter, Griffin Dunne and John Woodvine.

Plus the box office top 10 and the latest movie news.

Someone once said, if it was raining brains, I wouldn't even get wet. But that doesn’t matter cos you can join me sheltering from the rain and Meet Me In The Foyer. I had spent my whole life making two and two into five. But I can smell great movies like other people can smell gas. Now, my friends, I should be filling yous in a little. I nearly forgot. My name's Jawa. I ain't no dumb bum. And between yous and me, this ain't no book store. This is my place a picture house. So Meet Me In The Foyer. Best joint in town. Inside you’ll meet Linda who this week is sharing her review of Paul Greengrass’s The Uprising starring Andrew Garfield, Jamie Bell, Stephen Dillane, Tom Hollander, Cosmo Jarvis, Thomasin McKenzie, Jonny Lee Miller, Woody Norman and Katherine Waterston. Then she pulls on her reviewing trainers to catch up with Scott Waugh's Runner starring Alan Ritchson, Owen Wilson, Rodrigo Santoro, Leila George, Adriana Barraza, Sullivan Stapleton, Peta Sergeant, and Geraldine Hakewill. Whilst Jawa isn’t prohibited by prohibition as he reviews Alan Parker’s delightful adolescent debut Bugsy Malone starring Jodie Foster, Scott Baio, John Cassisi, Bonnie Langford, Mark Curry and Dexter Fletcher

Reviews on the march! Legendary was the Xanadu where Kubla Kahn decreed his stately pleasure dome - "Where twice five miles of fertile ground, with walls and towers were girdled 'round." Today, almost as legendary is the Foyer where we meet weekly - world's greatest film review show. Here, Linda & Jawa discuss the latest movie news, run down the box office top 10 and bring you the latest movie reviews. Verily, "a miracle of rare device."

This week Linda is right on time with her review of Kent Jones’s Late Fame starring Willem Dafoe, Greta Lee and Edmund Donovan. Then she sallies to Sherwood to share stories of the soon to be late Death Of Robin Hood from Michael Sarnoski starring Hugh Jackman, Jodie Comer, Bill Skarsgard, Murray Bartlett and Noah Jupe. Before finding a footing to avoid a Fall 2: Deadpoint like Harriet Slater and Arsema Thomas in the new film from Peter and Michael Spierig soon to be dropping into cinemas.

Finally Jawa delivers a eulogy to the late great Citizen Kane the movie masterpiece and cinematic summit from Orson Welles starring Joseph Cotten, Dorothy Comingore and Orson Welles himself.
