  • Cultivating the Inner Pause with Patience
    2026/07/25

I have a love-hate relationship with patience. For a long time I saw it as something you either had or didn’t. Then I read a line from Jon Kabat-Zinn, "patience is the capacity to be at peace with where you are" and something shifted. I started seeing it less like a trait and more like a muscle.

In this guided meditation, we’re not forcing anything. We’re creating space. Space to notice the gap between the feeling and the reaction, and to listen there before we act. It’s the same space I return to again and again in my own practice.

Grab something to write with. Find a quiet place. Get comfortable. And when you’re ready, we’ll begin.
