Welcome back divas. After two weeks in a funk, we’re getting deep.
The vibe: you, me, my unwashed sheets and the inner workings of my brain.
This week I unpack why I’ve been feeling off lately and whether the cure might simply be... getting laid.
We’re talking sexual frustration, the post-Europe dopamine comedown, the Sydney dating scene and the weird, subliminal pressure that starts creeping in when you’re a single woman in your 30s. Biological clocks. Social media. Watching everyone around you move well into the “next stage” of life, and that nagging little feeling that maybe you’re somehow falling behind.
I also hit the streets of Bondi for the first Solo Season Dating Census and it got me thinking: have we forgotten how to actually have fun being single?
We unpack sex on the first date, one-night stands, the double standards that still exist around women and casual sex, and why Sydney desperately needs to loosen up when it comes to dating.
And finally, a question I can’t stop thinking about:
If you knew you only had one month left of being single… what would you do differently?
Maybe being single isn’t the waiting room. Maybe this is the good part.
Love you. Mean it.
