I had this idea of having a husband that would be home every night for dinner. A husband that would have weekends off. A husband that I would see every day with some exceptions. A husband I would be able to attend events with.
This is not what it's like for us.
In singleness, I had this idea of what I thought my marriage would look like. Don't get me wrong, my husband is the perfect man for me, but our life is not what I expected.
While I was waiting for my husband, God had me in a season of preparation. At the time I didn't know what I was preparing for, but now I do! I share what God did to prepare me and how I am living that out to this day even in marriage!
