  • Stories - Louis Cennamo -Awake in the Dream: The Spiritual Diary of a Rockstar
    2026/04/26

Stories from everyday people are one of the oldest forms of sharing people’s narratives. In this series of podcasts, we will hear real, live stories from ordinary people who will tell us about their experiences, their anecdotes, and let us into their lives. I’m Soveks Lo—join me for Everyday Stories.

In this episode, I have the absolute pleasure of speaking with British rock guitarist Louis Cenamo. From his early days performing alongside legends like Rod Stewart and Chuck Berry,

Louis went on to travel the world, playing with iconic bands such as Renaissance, Steamhammer, and Armageddon.

Louis reflects on the beginnings of his career and the vibrant creative energy of the 1960s and 70s music scene. He shares stories from life on the road—friendships, unforgettable moments with some of the most influential musicians of his era.

Captured in his recently published autobiography- Awake in the dream A spiritual diary of a Rockstar Louis shares stories from life on the road, friendships, unforgettable moments with some of the most influential musicians of hie era

Beyond the music his story takes a more personal turn Louis tells us about the pivotal moments that led him away from the fast pace life of a rock guitarist towards a more spiritual reflective life

  • An evening with Enfield Poets - Soundscape
    2024/10/04

It was a real pleasure for Maroon Community Media to attend Enfield Poets evening of poetry at Forty Hall in Enfield. We were privileged to be given the recordings of the evening plus with our portable recorders we had access to all who attended and of course permission to create one of our community soundscapes. The theme of the evening was poetry inspired by living in Enfield and it was hosted by one of the founder members of Enfield Poets, Anthony Fisher.
Sit back and listen to this amazing night.
