Have you ever had to scoot over and make room for someone else? In today’s Seek HIM First episode, we’re learning from Isaiah 54:2 about what it means to “enlarge the place of thy tent.”
Isaiah uses the picture of making a tent bigger to teach us an important lesson: there is always room to include others!
We’ll talk about simple ways kids can make room for someone who feels left out, invite someone to play, sit with someone who is alone, and show others the love of Jesus Christ.
Plus, we’ll finish with fun Come Follow Me trivia questions!
Come Follow Me for Kids | October 5–11 | Isaiah 50–57
A short, simple scripture lesson to help kids learn how to follow Jesus and Seek HIM First!
Before we go, I have a little invitation for you!
I would LOVE to hear from you and your family about how you Seek HIM First. ❤️
Have your child record a short voice memo telling me their name, their age, and one way they try to Seek HIM First. It could be something as simple as praying in the morning, reading their scriptures, helping someone, or thinking about Jesus when they're having a hard day.
Keep it short and sweet, and have a parent or guardian email the recording to seekhimfirstcf@gmail.com.
I may share some of these recordings on a future Seek HIM First episode, so we can hear from kids all over the place and learn from each other!
I can't wait to hear how YOU Seek HIM First! ❤️
