Let's talk about music, artistry, technology, and business. I interview artists, technologists, and business leaders to find out about their journeys, how they do their magic, how they get better at their craft, and how they survive. My concept of "Making Your Own Fun Island" is a way for independent creators to leverage their networks to create movements. I've been in technology and music business for 30 years, doing product design and artist management. I've financed the careers of many artists you may know, and regularly coach artists of all kinds.Derek Hoiem マネジメント・リーダーシップ リーダーシップ 経済学

  • Promotion for App Developers and Creators on The Base App using Inflynce
    2025/11/25

In this conversation, Ali Tıknazoğlu and I discuss how his miniapp for The Base App and Farcaster empowers founders and creators by providing a human-powered marketing engine. App developers and creators want attention and to promote their stuff. Fans want to promote and connect to creators and builders. Ali's platform "Inflynce" allows both sides to monetize attention. Everyday users can earn money by promoting, and creators and builders can garner attention by paying users on the platform. So, everyone can become part of the ad engine. What's unique about Inflynce is that you don't have to have a following already to promote, as anyone can be part of the network, not just your existing followers. We also discuss other topics in Web3 as well, such as "the tokenization of everything" through platforms like The Base App from Coinbase, and Zora.
