  • Micro-Cheating at Work: When a “Work Spouse” Threatens Your Relationship
    2026/10/19

Can a workplace friendship become emotional cheating—even when nothing physical has happened?

In Episode 3 of Magnolia Health & Wellness Ministries’ Micro-Cheating Series, Cassie explores the increasingly common idea of a “work wife” or “work husband.” Sharing lunches, private jokes, personal messages, marriage frustrations, and emotional support may appear harmless—but when a coworker becomes the first person you turn to, your committed relationship may begin losing the emotional intimacy it needs.

In this faith-centered conversation, you will learn:

    • How workplace friendships can develop into emotional attachments
    • Warning signs that professional boundaries may be fading
    • Why comparing a coworker with your spouse can be misleading
    • The risks of sharing private relationship problems with a coworker
    • How business travel and private communication can increase vulnerability
    • Seven questions that can help identify possible micro-cheating
    • How to discuss a partner’s “work spouse” without accusations or control
    • Practical steps for restoring boundaries, trust, and emotional connection

Cassie also explains an important distinction: healthy boundaries protect relationships, while control, isolation, and unsupported accusations damage them. Biblical faithfulness begins with governing our own choices through wisdom, integrity, and self-control.

This episode draws encouragement from Proverbs 4:23, Proverbs 13:20, 1 Corinthians 10:12, Galatians 5, and Psalm 51:10.

  • Micro-Cheating Signs: Is It Emotional Cheating? | Secret Texting, Social Media & Relationship Boundaries
    2026/09/21

What is micro-cheating, and when does seemingly harmless behavior become emotional cheating or infidelity?

Maybe there was no physical affair.

But there are deleted text messages.

    Secret DMs.

    Flirting with a coworker.

    Talking privately with an ex.

Constantly liking or reacting to one person's social media posts.

    Hiding conversations from your spouse.

Seeking attention or validation from someone outside your relationship.

Or developing a connection you would be uncomfortable having your partner see.

In this episode of the Magnolia Health & Wellness Ministries Podcast, host Cassie explores the signs of micro-cheating, emotional infidelity, social media boundaries, secret texting, trust, temptation, and faithfulness from a Christian and biblical perspective.

    In this episode, you'll discover:

    • What micro-cheating means
    • Common signs of micro-cheating
    • Micro-cheating vs. emotional cheating
    • When texting becomes inappropriate
    • Secret DMs and social media flirting
    • Why deleting or hiding messages can damage trust
    • Emotional connections with coworkers and exes
    • Seeking attention and validation outside your relationship
    • How friendships can slowly cross relationship boundaries
    • Why secrecy matters
    • How temptation can begin with seemingly small choices
    • Biblical boundaries for marriage and dating
    • How to protect trust before an emotional affair develops
    • What to do if you've discovered micro-cheating in your relationship
    • How Christians can approach forgiveness, repentance, boundaries, and rebuilding trust

    Proverbs 4:23 tells us:

“Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.”

Micro-cheating isn't about declaring every friendship, text message, or social-media interaction inappropriate.

    It's about asking deeper questions:

    Am I hiding this?

Would I behave differently if my spouse were standing beside me?

Am I giving someone else attention, flirtation, emotional intimacy, or energy that is beginning to compete with my relationship?

Would I be comfortable if my spouse were doing the same thing?

Faithfulness is about more than avoiding a physical affair.

It is also about protecting trust, emotional intimacy, honesty, and the commitments you've made to the person you love.

If you have to hide it, delete it, minimize it, or lie about it, it may be time to ask yourself why.

At Magnolia Health & Wellness Ministries, we provide Christ-centered coaching, courses, and resources designed to help individuals and couples develop healthy relationships, establish biblical boundaries, heal from betrayal, renew their minds, and grow spiritually and emotionally.

  • Resisting Temptation: The Battle Between What We Want & What God Wants
    2026/09/14

Temptation rarely announces itself as something that will destroy your peace.

It often begins with something small.

One conversation. One message. One secret. One compromise. One thought you continue entertaining. One decision you tell yourself won't matter.

And sometimes the most dangerous words we can say are: “Just this once.”

In this episode of the Magnolia Health & Wellness Ministries Podcast, host Cassie explores the very real battle of temptation—and how Christians can develop the spiritual strength, wisdom, and boundaries necessary to resist what feels good temporarily but may lead us away from God's best.

Temptation can appear in many areas of our lives: relationships, sexual choices, emotional affairs, pornography, money, pride, anger, gossip, dishonesty, food, alcohol, attention, validation, social media, or simply the desire to compromise our values because something feels good in the moment.

    Together, we'll explore:

Why being tempted is not the same as giving in to temptation

How small compromises can become larger patterns

Why temptation often targets our unmet needs and vulnerable places

Jesus' response to temptation in the wilderness

Recognizing triggers before they become decisions

The importance of prayer, Scripture, accountability, and healthy boundaries

Why secrecy gives temptation room to grow

Learning when to resist—and when Scripture tells us to flee

Choosing long-term peace over short-term pleasure

What to do when you've already fallen into temptation

Grace, repentance, forgiveness, and beginning again with Christ

First Corinthians 10:13 reminds us that God is faithful and that when we are tempted, **He will also provide a way out so that we can endure it.

Sometimes that way out looks very practical.

    Don't send the message.

    Don't reopen the conversation.

Don't go somewhere you know weakens your boundaries.

    Walk away.

    Call someone you trust.

    Pray.

    Open your Bible.

Remove the opportunity. And remember why you established the boundary in the first place.

Resisting temptation isn't about living afraid of everything around us. It's about becoming spiritually mature enough to recognize that **not everything we desire deserves access to our lives.

And if you've already fallen, don't allow shame to convince you that God is finished with you.

Conviction says, “Come back to God.”

    Shame says, “Hide from God.”

Choose repentance over hiding and restoration over continuing the cycle.

At Magnolia Health & Wellness Ministries, we offer Christ-centered coaching, courses, and resources designed to help you strengthen your faith, renew your mind, establish healthy boundaries, heal unhealthy relationship patterns, and pursue whole-person wellness.
