Omega has the combination. The vault is open. Let’s go find some music radio forgot.
🔐 THE MAGIC MUSHROOM MUSIC VAULTDeep cuts. Forgotten treasures. Timeless sounds.
Tonight we're opening the vault for something a little different.
A night for the crooners.
Not necessarily the tuxedo-and-martini crooners of another generation—but the voices that can simply stand in front of a microphone and tell you a story.
Voices with character.
Voices with scars.
Voices that don't need to shout to make you listen.
We open tonight with the Lads from Liverpool, before settling in for an extended visit with one of the great storytellers of our time—Tracy Chapman.
Simple arrangements. Powerful words. A remarkable voice.
Music that proves you don't need a wall of sound when you've got something worth saying.
From Tracy we'll move into the blues-soaked voice and guitar of Susan Tedeschi, then wander over to the wonderfully distinctive Crash Test Dummies, followed by a few choice cuts from Jethro Tull.
Then we turn the combination again...
Stephen Stills.
We'll spend some time with Stills through Manassas and CSN&Y, followed by a beautiful atmospheric stop with The Church and “Under the Milky Way.”
Then two names that belong together in any serious exploration of progressive rock:
Greg Lake and Robert Fripp.
We'll reach into the vault for King Crimson, before picking up the pace with Neil Young, followed by another visit from Susan Tedeschi.
And then...
🌌 THE ULTIMATE CROONERVan Morrison.
We're going to spend some time with Van tonight.
Because Van doesn't merely sing a song. He inhabits it.
Soul. Blues. Jazz. Folk. Gospel. Celtic music.
Sometimes all of them seem to find their way into the same song.
We'll interrupt our journey through Van's music for a beautiful George Harrison song performed by Eric Clapton—which naturally gives us the perfect excuse to bring back the Lads from Liverpool.
Then the lights get a little lower.
The hour gets a little later.
And we head deeper into the vault.
We'll spend our closing stretch with Van Morrison and Harry Nilsson—two utterly unmistakable voices—before returning one final time to Van and some wonderful cuts from Tupelo Honey.
And when the journey has finally run its course, we'll let The Moody Blues take us home.
Great songs.
Great writers.
Great musicians.
Timeless sounds from another era.
Turn it up.
Put on the headphones.
Forget the algorithms and the playlists for a while.
Listen to the guitar in the left channel.
Listen to the harmony coming from the right.
Listen to the space between the notes.
Because this music was never meant to be wallpaper.
It was meant to be heard.
Some songs don't simply play...
They travel with us through life.
Tonight, we're going looking for a few of them.
The combination has been turned.
The vault is open.
🌌 I am Omega... a traveler of frequencies.
We follow the signal... and let the music lead the way.
