I spent years doing what I thought I was supposed to do—building a career, raising a family, showing up for everyone who needed me, and checking the boxes of a life that looked successful from the outside.

Until I realized the life I had built no longer fit the woman God was calling me to become.

I’m Mariana Monterrubio—Personal Rebrand Strategist, Certified Biblical Life Coach, bestselling author, and founder of MAMI on a Mission. I know firsthand that sometimes God isn’t asking you to become someone new. He’s inviting you to uncover the woman He created you to be before life, expectations, disappointment, survival, and other people’s definitions started piling on.

Extreme Rebrand: A MAMI on a Mission Podcast is for the woman who knows something in her life is changing—and she’s ready to change with it.

Each week, we have real conversations about how to:

✨ Rediscover your identity and see yourself through the lens of who God says you are

✨ Heal from past experiences without allowing them to define your future

✨ Build confidence, boundaries, and habits that support the woman you’re becoming

✨ Navigate changes in your career, relationships, family, leadership, and personal life

✨ Stop shrinking to fit spaces, roles, and expectations you’ve outgrown

✨ Move from knowing what needs to change to actually taking intentional action

✨ Walk boldly in your faith, purpose, gifts, and calling

Because personal rebranding isn’t about reinventing yourself. It’s about revealing what’s been buried.

With more than 16 years of experience in workforce development and coaching, along with my own journey of rebuilding my life and identity, I bring together faith, practical strategy, personal development, career experience, and conversations about what women are really navigating behind closed doors.

And amiga, we talk about all of it—faith, identity, healing, confidence, purpose, career, relationships, leadership, boundaries, and those moments when you realize, “Something has to change.”

Join me every Wednesday for your Mid-Week Reset, plus monthly Bonus Cafecito Conversations, where real women share what it looks like to rebuild, refresh, evolve, and rise.

So grab your cafecito ☕, hit follow, and come sit with me.

You don’t need to become a different woman. It’s time to become more fully the woman God already sees.

  • The Courage of No: When Your Boundary Costs You Something
    2026/10/07

You can say “no” with kindness, clarity, and respect and still feel your stomach drop when the reaction hits. That’s the moment a lot of us start bargaining with our own boundaries, grabbing our phone to soften the message, offering half of what we already said we couldn’t do. I’m talking about the courage of no, and what happens when holding your limit comes with a real price.

We go to the Book of Esther, but we start with Queen Vashti. Scripture doesn’t tell us why she refused the king’s command, but it does show us the fallout and how far one woman’s boundary was interpreted and punished. From there, I walk through a simple but life-changing shift for faith-driven women: don’t just count what your boundary might cost, count what continuing without it is already costing you. Time. Peace. Family. Integrity. Resentment you keep swallowing so you can stay “easy.”

You’ll also hear practical, usable boundary coaching: how to read someone’s disappointment as information, how to tell the difference between normal feelings and controlling behavior, and how to make your boundaries real by connecting them to your actions. Plus, I share journal prompts to help you name the fear under your yes, the cost you’re paying, and one reasonable limit you can follow through on this week.

If this helped you breathe a little deeper, subscribe, share it with an amiga, and leave a review so more women can find these midweek resets. What boundary are you practicing next?

  • Bonus: The Grieving the Pet Who Felt Like Home
    2026/10/03

Some losses don’t just break your heart. They change the sound of your home. I’m sitting down while my grief is still fresh to honor my English bulldog, Daisy Marie, and to tell the truth about what it feels like when a “fur baby” is suddenly not there anymore. The quiet spots hit different, the routines feel off, and for a moment you still look for them in the place they always were.

I share how Daisy came into my life after years of dreaming, praying, and surviving hard seasons, plus the small details that made her Daisy: the car rides, the attention-loving personality, the birthday hats, the side eye, the dog park, and the comfort of having my shadow nearby. Then I walk through the hard turn, the signs something wasn’t right, the vet visit, and the heartbreak of saying goodbye. If you’ve ever faced losing a dog or grieving a pet, you’ll recognize how fast life can shift before your heart feels ready.

We also talk faith and grief without ranking pain. Psalm 34:18 reminds us God is close to the brokenhearted, even when other people don’t understand why pet loss grief hurts so much. And because this is Extreme Rebrand, I connect the dots between grief and identity: sometimes we choose change, and sometimes change chooses us, and we still have to learn how to live inside what’s different. If you’re coping with the death of a pet, you’ll leave with gentle ways to remember them, release guilt when you laugh again, and stop performing “being okay” for anyone.

If this helped you feel less alone, subscribe, share it with another amiga, and leave a review so more women can find this kind of faith-centered support. What’s one memory of your pet you never want to forget?

  • You Can Be Grateful and Still Want Something Different
    2026/09/23

That moment when you look around and think, “My life is good… so why do I want something different?” can hit hard. The guilt shows up fast, telling you to be quiet and just be grateful. I’m here to name the truth: gratitude and change aren’t enemies. If God is developing a new desire in you, you don’t have to minimize everything He’s already done to take it seriously.

We sit with the idea of seasons through Ecclesiastes 3:1 and unpack why a shifting season doesn’t make the last one a mistake. I share my own journey of loving my nonprofit career and still feeling the pull toward building Mommy on a Mission full time, plus how being laid off sharpened my questions about purpose, calling, and what I’m meant to build. We also talk about the two ditches many of us fall into when life gets “fine”: complacency that disguises comfort as contentment, and forcing results through impatience, comparison, and obsession with a timeline.

You’ll leave with a practical midweek reset you can do today: a simple three-part journaling exercise to name what you’re grateful for, what you want to be different, and what you can faithfully do now while you wait for clarity or timing. I also ground this in scripture, including Psalm 37:5 and Proverbs 3:5-6, because trust doesn’t mean passivity. It means we commit our work to God, prepare with wisdom, and release outcomes we can’t control.

If you’re craving clarity, I’ll also point you to the Personal Rebrand Method (shed, renew, build, live) and the personal rebrand assessment to help you see what needs attention right now. Subscribe for more midweek resets, share this with an amiga, and leave a review so more faith-driven women can find it.
