The Minnesota Lynx, despite a 33-11 record, suffered a historic sweep by the New York Liberty in the WNBA playoffs. Jonquel Jones led NY with 21 points and 13 rebounds, while Courtney Williams topped MN with 18 points. This elimination marks the first time a number one seed has been swept in the opening round.

This episode analyzes the impact of injuries to Satou Sabally, Elizabeth Balogun, Anastasiia Olairi Kosu, and Elena Buenavida on Minnesota's defensive rotations. We discuss Napheena Collier's uncertain free agency status and Coach Cheryl Reeve's comments about the roster needing improvement in perimeter shooting and wing size to compete for a title next season.

We also cover the broader WNBA playoff landscape, including the semifinals featuring Atlanta, Golden State, Las Vegas, and New York, and Indiana's series against Las Vegas. The discussion highlights the Liberty's dominance and the challenges facing the Western Conference division leaders.

In this episode: Liberty Sweep & Division Rivals · Playoff Landscape & Semifinals · Collier's Future & Offseason Needs.
