The Minnesota Lynx (33-11) suffered a historic sweep by the No. 8 seed New York Liberty in the 2026 WNBA playoffs. Napheesa Collier faces free agency uncertainty after leading the team as a two-time MVP runner-up. Jonquel Jones led New York with 21 points and 13 rebounds, while Courtney Williams topped the Lynx with 18 points and 8 assists despite injuries to Satou Sabally, Elizabeth Balogun, Anastasiia Olairi Kosu, and Elena Buenavida.

Hosts Renee and Joel analyze the roster depth issues, the impact of missing key forwards on pick-and-roll defense, and the need for improved perimeter shooting and wing size. They discuss Coach Reeve's comments about the current group and predict significant offseason roster changes to address the gaps exposed during the series against Sabrina Ionescu and the Liberty.

Topics covered include Collier's free agency decision, the tactical failures against New York's spacing, Courtney Williams' standout performance, and potential offseason acquisitions. The hosts emphasize that without fixing the forward position and perimeter defense, the Lynx cannot compete for the title next season.

In this episode: Collier's Future & Defensive Collapse · Roster Battles & Depth Issues · Hypotheticals & Lightning Round.
