What happens when we hesitate from doing what God has commanded us to do? Pastor Kyle walks us through what happened to Israel in Joshua 18:1-10 with this very same thing. Joshua asked "Have you put off...?". 21 faithful men were then tasked with going into the remaining unallocated land and reporting back to Joshua. What have you put off that God has commanded you to do?

The message from Joshua 17:14-18, "No Excuses". Just because a church is bigger, doesn't necessarily mean that they have more blessing or are spiritually superior. This also goes for smaller, "Bible belt" churches as well. God doesn't bless more on size, it's faithfulness and obedience. The tribe of Joseph thought that just because they were larger that they didn't need to do the work. They used excuses of unwillingness and fear. What excuses are you giving for not being obedient to what God has called you to do?

Today's passage takes us through Joshua 17:1-13. Pastor Kyle reminds us the importance of being in God's Word so that we don't forget God's Word. The daughters in the passage remembered what God had promised, and they reminded Joshua of this promise. By them doing this, it held Joshua accountable to God's Word. This is a reminder, and a warning, that we don't become comfortable nor complacent with God's Word.

In Joshua 16:1-10, Pastor Kyle takes us through this chapter showing how God faithfully provides, how we're better when we're together, and the dangers of tolerating what God has commanded us to get rid of. Almost is not all...Partial obedience is disobedience.

Joshua 15:20-63 lists about 100 cities within the boarders of Judah. Pastor Kyle takes us through four (4) key cities within this list. When we look at lists like this in Scripture, we tend to skim over them or just all out skip them. Here, we see the importance of studying these lists and not overlooking them. At the end of this list there's a warning. This warning sparks a question: what are you tolerating that God has condemned? What are you normalizing that God has told you to get rid of?

In Joshua 15:13-19, we see how Caleb's faithfulness was a blueprint for not only his daughter, but Othniel as well. Caleb lived out his faith in all that he did and say. Because of this, the next generation had something to learn from. What is your faithfulness telling the next generation? Are you teaching them to remain faithful, or enjoy "life" now and worry about all that faith stuff later?

Joshua 15:1-12 shows us the inheritance for the tribe of Judah. We know the importance of this tribe as the Messiah will come from Judah. Because of this, the land is important as well. Pastor Kyle walks us through the Northern, Southern, Eastern, and Western boundaries, their importance, and the biblical principles from each region. This sparks the question: what are you doing with the boundaries God set in your life?

Many think that just because you're older that you need to slow down. There are plenty of older people who are running marathons, have physical jobs, and get along fine. Pastor Kyle takes us through Joshua 14 and the inheritance of Caleb. At 85 years young, Caleb waited 45 years for God's promise to happen. In those 45 years, Caleb remained faithful and obedient to what God had said. Are you just as strong now as you were when you were younger: physically, mentally, and spiritually?
