Ordained minister, Dr. Dennis Hall, uses Scripture to point out that Jesus is not simply the Prince of Peace but a divisive figure both in families and throughout the world, despised by much of the human race. Jesus warned that his followers would be hated in the same way that the world hated him. Dr. Hall points out that lukewarm Christians, according to the Bible, make Jesus want to vomit. Some of the costs of discipleship in contemporary society are reviewed. Dr. Hall goes on to point out that Jesus warned us that our spiritual enemies may be in our families, that it might even be your spouse. Unequally yoked marriages are discussed at length with Dr. Hall recommending that spouses in these marriages need to rely on the leadership of God and the Holy Spirit to understand the right time to leave the unholy alliance of being unequally yoked in marriage.
