  • ep.12: ‘protecting your peace’ while chronically ill
    2026/08/31

how can you find peace within yourself—even when your body feels like it’s constantly fighting against you?! that’s the question i’m unpacking in this episode!

if you’re chronically ill (or love someone who is), you probably know that chronic illness comes with a lot of challenges: painful symptoms, physical limitations, uncertainty, and changes to the life you imagined for yourself. with so much outside of your control, finding a sense of inner calm amidst all that chaos can feel almost impossible.

while i’m definitely not claiming to have mastered the art of staying zen through the chronic illness rollercoaster i’ve been on for the past three years, i do want to share some of the things i’ve learned—and the little ways i try to protect my peace, guard my energy, and make space for acceptance along the way.

because you can’t control being chronically ill, but you do have a say in how you respond to it. 🩷🧠

    topics (with timestamps):

02:10 why protecting your peace is so important when you’re chronically ill

04:19 the quote about peace that changed my perspective

18:49 the relationship between chronic illness & change
