Welcome back to This Person I Met! My name is Kayla and I’m the host of this podcast.
A few weeks ago, I got the chance to sit down and talk with Joe Halsch, the director of the Jim Toy Center in Ann Arbor, a community for queer folk and allies, as you might recall from our previous episode. In this continuation of Joe’s story, we further discuss nuances found within modern day queer media and its connection to capitalistic drive, as well as its complications within a hetero-normative society. If this is your first time listening to Joe, I suggest you to also take a listen to the first part of his segment as well before you continue here.
Without further ado, here’s Joe.
