    On this week's episode of Long Gone, the boys break down the MLB postseason as it trucks on. The final four of Dodgers, Brewers, Blue Jays and Mariners is coming down to the finish-- the boys dive in. With the Yankees and Phillies being eliminated, it exposed the weaknesses of each club. Have fans had enough? Where do these franchises go next? Mike Shildt has stepped down as manager of the Padres. They Padres can't seem to hang onto a manager. Maybe there is more than meets the eye here, and the boys slap on their detective caps and try to solve why. In the nature of Postseason, the boys have to bust out a draft. This week they each draft a team made up of the best postseason players of all-time. Afterwards, they round out the show with Collection Corner.

The boys dive into what went wrong in Queens, which led to not only an early-end to their season, but Pete Alonso opting out for potentially greener pastures. Since the regular season's end, teams have already just on the manager-merry-go-round and made changes. The boys talk about which teams are better off, and which teams aren't. In the last installment of this year's Forgotten Series, the boys focus on former Cub-great Kerry Wood. He was about the only thing good Wrigley had for a long time and then, just like that, he was gone. What happened to the man known as 'Kid K' ? Clayton Kershaw calls it a career and what a career he had! The boys raise a glass to the Claw and his Hall of Fame incoming. Robo Umps have officially worked their way into Major League Baseball. In 2026, the league has declared they will adopt the ABS system for the upcoming season toward challenges, which could change the game forever.
