The Tennessee Titans traded away Jeffery Simmons and while that shows they are giving up on the season, it also shows they are giving up on Cam Ward. If there was belief in Cam Ward, the Titans would not have made this move and would have continued to build with Ward and Simmons as the main pillars. This is also a rejection of Robert Saleh's program. Showing that giving Saleh all the pieces he wanted still wasn't good enough.

The Tennessee Titans are 1-6 coming up to the NFL's trade deadline and if the right offer pops up, they must trade Jeffery Simmons. Simmons will have great value to the league and will likely never make the playoffs again in Tennessee. Not only that, but the Titans just saw first hand how the Cleveland Browns traded away Myles Garrett and got better. No one player is good enough for the Titans to decline a trade.

The Tennessee Titans are 1-6 and have to be major sellers at the trade deadline in two weeks. When they do, names like Tony Pollard, Calvin Ridley and Tyjae Spears must be shopped on offense. On defense, plenty of names fit the bill, but do not expect Jeffery Simmons to get traded. However, names like Jacob Martin, Jermaine Johnson and Joey Slye at kicker should all be on the block.
