He is the only Rays pitcher to go 7+ innings this year and he has done it twice so far this season. The offense put constant pressure on the Padres elite pitching staff. The comeback kids do it again. The Tampa Bay Rays beat the Arizona Diamondbacks 7-4 to get a much needed series victory. The Rays were led by clutch hitting once again from Yandy Diaz who tied the game in the 9th inning and Christopher Morel who delivered the dagger home run to put the Rays up for good. Pete Fairbanks would come in the bottom of the 10th to shut the door as the Rays get another huge win. The Rays will head to San Diego next with a matchup with the Padres starting tomorrow night.

The Tampa Bay Rays picked up a BIG TIME win in 11 innings against the Arizona Diamondbacks 7-6. The Rays trailed three different times in this game but battled back each time to pick up the win. Yandy Diaz led the way for the Rays. He went 3-6 with 3 RBIs in the win. With the Rays sitting at 9-13 through the early stretch of the season, it’s time to ask: how concerned should fans be?
