There haven't been many victories for the Vancouver Canucks in the 2025-26 season.

Heck, it didn't look like they would snag a win during the 2023 draft.

Elias Pettersson has had a "bounce-back" season for the Vancouver Canucks. It's just not near the level anyone expected.

Drastic change is already underway in Vancouver, but more is needed. No more hybrid retool, the fans in Vancouver deserve better.

While Pettersson has played better, it's pretty clear that he's not going to help the Canucks win a Stanley Cup. If that's the case, they should trade him, and trade him while he's still good.

Among teams that could use him, one of the Canucks upcoming opponents, the Detroit Red Wings, makes sense.
