In this episode, Kara sits down with Filipina-American actress Liza Soberano ahead of the premiere of DreamWorks’ Forgotten Island. Liza opens up about being discovered at 12, building a 16-year career in the Philippines, and choosing to start over in Hollywood. She also shares the emotional audition that helped land her first American lead role, working alongside H.E.R., and why pursuing this next chapter is about showing young Filipina girls that it’s okay to dream bigger. Liza Soberano is a Filipino-American actress. She spent nearly a decade as one of the biggest stars in Philippine cinema, leading films including Alone/Together, then moved to Los Angeles to build a Hollywood career.
