Most of us have spent our entire lives dressing for everyone but ourselves.
Parents telling us what's ‘appropriate.’
Partners hinting at what they like or don’t like.
Coworkers, friends, random strangers on the street.
Even that one aunt who always gave you the side-eye if you wore anything remotely fun, sexy, or bold.
And over time, it conditions us.
We start asking ourselves, without even realizing it:
Is this too much?
Will they take me seriously?
Will they think I’m attention-seeking?
Sound familiar?
And listen — it’s not your fault.
This world LOVES to control women through shame, especially around our bodies and how we present them.
But just because we were taught that... doesn’t mean we have to keep living that way.

Today’s conversation is close to my heart because it's something so many women wrestle with — especially those who are also mothers. It’s this unspoken pressure that the second you have kids, you’re supposed to shrink.
You’re supposed to be “appropriate” — whatever that even means.

You’re supposed to trade sensuality for practicality.
You’re supposed to stop dressing sexy, stop showing skin, stop celebrating your body...

All under the heavy, suffocating label of being “a good mom.”

So today, we're ripping that label apart — and replacing it with a new standard.
A standard where your sensuality, your pleasure, your radiance aren’t just allowed — they are NECESSARY.
