Our guest is LIZ WHITE, one of the UK’s most compelling and versatile actresses, currently starring in the Olivier award-winning National Theatre production of DEAR ENGLAND.

Liz rose to prominence in the iconic BBC drama Life on Mars, and has since captivated audiences with her roles in Ackley Bridge, The Woman in Black, Our Zoo, Call the Midwife, and Unforgotten—among many others. A seasoned performer across television, film, and theatre, Liz brings emotional intelligence and authenticity to every role.

We talk to Liz about her love of independent film, her enduring passion for the work, and how having the courage to create her own opportunities early on proved to be a transformative moment in her career. It's a treat of a conversation and we're thrilled she could join us before heading to the National Theatre for a performance of Dear England.

Rebbecca is the founder of Strawberry Words, a dynamic training and consultancy company that specialises in helping individuals and organisations navigate difficult conversations around race, identity, and inclusion with confidence and compassion. With a background in public speaking, performance, and education, she brings a unique blend of creativity, candour, and care to her work.

Through her workshops, keynotes, and consultancy, Rebbecca helps people explore unconscious bias, challenge assumptions, and develop the tools needed to create truly inclusive environments. She is deeply passionate about the power of words, the importance of visibility, and the need for safe spaces where people can be honest, heard, and respected.

We talk to Rebbecca about the significance of cultural awareness, how to approach challenging conversations with empathy, why language matters more than we think, and how we can each play a role in creating a more equitable world. It's a chat that covers a lot of ground, and left both of us inspired and with a renewed energy to learn. We're sure Rebbecca will have the same effect on you. Enjoy!

This ep was first released on May 2 2024 and we're re-releasing it - like a brilliant classic album - for a very special reason. Limited Time Only has been nominated for an actual AWARD! An International Women's Podcast Award in the category of COMEDY GOLD and it was clips from this episode that won us that nomination. We couldn't be more thrilled (Susie meeting Chesney Hawkes was the bar here and she was absolutely ruddy THRILLED about that so imagine how we're feeling about THIS!).

Our guest is NADIA ATTURA, an award-winning artist known for her evocative, layered landscapes and unmistakable visual style.

From a young age, Nadia knew she wanted to be an artist — a deep inner calling that never left her. But it was the birth of her daughter that became the true turning point, inspiring her to fully commit to her artistic path and make creativity her reality. That powerful sense of purpose has shaped everything since.

Working with analogue and digital processes, Nadia creates richly textured scenes that transport the viewer into a world of colour, emotion, and memory. Her unique work has attracted a loyal following — including celebrity clients — and has been exhibited internationally and featured in major collections and exhibitions.

We talk to Nadia about what drives her creativity, how becoming a mother fuelled her artistic ambition, her process from inspiration to finished piece, and the deep ‘why’ behind everything she makes.
