Now for this week's extravaganza! These shownotes are being written at 12.05am on the day this ep gets released. It's not like they could have been written two weeks ago or anything. Well, actually, they couldn't. There's no dopamine involved in being that organised. As this episode is all about ADHD and how it shows up, this whole scenario is brilliantly apt. So we're taking the sleep-deprivation involved in this high-level procrastination as a win.

Our guest this week is the brilliant, Kate Moryoussef, host of the award-winning ADHD Women’s Wellbeing Podcast.

Kate is an ADHD lifestyle and wellbeing coach and EFT practitioner who helps overwhelmed but unfulfilled women reconnect with their clarity, creativity, calm, and potential. She was herself diagnosed with ADHD later in life, and that experience now shapes the heart of her work. On her podcast, she speaks with global experts, thought leaders, and authors, sharing practical tools and honest conversations to support health, wellbeing, and balance for ADHD women. She’s also the author of The ADHD Women’s Wellbeing Toolkit.

We talk to Kate about the stigma around getting diagnosed later in life, and how that ripples into family life and work. We dive into how she protects her own time and boundaries, coping with neurodivergence day to day, and the role of self-compassion in avoiding burnout. We also explore why self-care and finding balance matter so much, not just for her clients, but for her too.

Our guest is Tigz Rice - empowerment photographer, speaker, educator, and podcaster.

Tigz spent her childhood feeling that she was different to the other children in her year, and it wasn’t until she was an adult that she was diagnosed as neurodivergent. That experience of feeling unseen shaped everything — leading her into the world of burlesque, and ultimately into a career helping others feel empowered and celebrated in front of the camera. We discuss all this plus the her award-winning book Strip/Tease which showcases her photography work within the burlesque community; how she has gained a global following through her viral Boudoir Posing Series; and her 2025 TEDx Talk challenging society’s definitions of beauty and body image. It's essential viewing!

‘When we get that feeling, we want self-healing’ or something like that.

This week we discuss how we look after ourselves. Or at least, how we try to. It doesn't always go to plan. But one thing's for sure, Susie can nap absolutely anywhere.

Today’s guest is Amy A. O’Day, founder of The Reconnected Self and creator of a method she calls Compassionate Self-Healing.

After spending decades living with chronic illness, multiple diagnoses, ongoing fatigue, autoimmune conditions, hormonal issues, sensitivities, and a long list of health challenges, Amy began exploring the connection between emotional patterns, subconscious beliefs, and physical wellbeing. Through that work, she says she was able to restore her own health and went on to develop her approach to emotional healing.

Amy’s work looks at the idea that experiences from the past, unresolved emotions, and deeply held beliefs can shape the way we feel physically and emotionally in the present—showing up as stress, anxiety, burnout, chronic symptoms, and a whole host of other issues.

We talk to Amy about her journey through illness and recovery, the origins of The Reconnected Self, the relationship between mind and body, and how our internal world can influence the way we experience health.
