概要

 Pastor Malachi Mitchell, born and raised in San Diego, has walked a remarkable journey—from acting and modeling to city service, and now a powerful voice in ministry. In 1996, during one of the darkest times of his life, he experienced a spiritual awakening where God changed his name from Anthony Mitchell to Malachi—a name he’s affectionately known by today.

Licensed and ordained since 1984, he has served as youth pastor and co-pastor at Good Samaritan of San Diego Church alongside his family. He holds both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Christian Studies with an emphasis in Leadership from Grand Canyon University.

Together with his wife Christine, he founded Life’s Word Ministry to reach, teach, and restore hope—helping families heal, empowering the broken, and inspiring lives to change through the truth of God’s Word.

    Scripture: Philippians 4:6–7 — “Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God… shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”

    Anxiety doesn’t always look like panic attacks or visible fear. Sometimes it looks like constant worrying. Overthinking. Replaying conversations. Anticipating worst-case scenarios. And Feeling uneasy even when nothing is wrong.

    Scripture: 2 Timothy 1:7 — “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.”

    Fear is not always loud. Sometimes it whispers. Sometimes it disguises itself as caution, overthinking, or “being realistic.” But no matter how it appears, fear has one goal—to control your thinking and limit your trust in God.
