Janna wears a lot of titles—mother, entrepreneur, childcare owner, school founder, leader, coach, educator, and now doctoral student. But she shares that behind all of those very public roles is someone who also values being quiet, slowing down, listening, dancing, exercising, spending time alone, and simply doing nothing sometimes.

She reflects on becoming the dependable person in her family from a young age and how being known as “the strong one” can sometimes mean people forget that strong people need support too.

The conversation explores the weight of constantly wearing different hats, learning when to step away from work, setting boundaries around access to your time and energy, and recognizing when your body is telling you that you need to stop.
