In this episode, I am joined by my father as we explore the rich history and personal stories of our family from Punjab, India, before Partition in 1947. The conversation delves into ancestral roots, land settlement, cultural traditions, the harmonious multi-faith culture of those times, and the enduring values that shaped our lives.
Through my father, Birinder Bhullar’s memories and experiences, we revisit a world that existed before borders divided communities and changed lives forever. This conversation offers a glimpse into the everyday freedoms, relationships, and cultural bonds that shaped life in those times.
