"Welcome to Lies. Changes. Truth. I’m your host, BKBlessed, and in this podcast we dig deep into the stories we tell ourselves, the lies we’ve been told, the changes we make and the truths we uncover along the way. Life is a journey, a constant evolution from one version of ourselves to the next. But what happens when the stories we’ve been telling ourselves no longer serve us? When the lies we’ve believed—whether from others or from within—hold us back from becoming our truest selves?

The Bible tells us in John 8:32 (NLT), ‘And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.’ Each episode, we’ll explore how truth can free us from the lies and false narratives we’ve been holding onto.

Every Thursday we'll have new episode where we explore personal transformation and challenge the narratives that keep us stuck. Whether you’re navigating self-doubt, facing lies others have told you, making changes for the better, or searching for your truth, this is the place for you.

So, let’s dive in and start our journey of truth together."

  • Episode 33- You Don’t Have to Leave Them Behind — When Loyalty Meets Purpose
    2025/11/21

In this episode of "Lies. Changes. Truth." we will be exploring the tension between loyalty and purpose, and the lie that living in your purpose automatically means leaving your family behind. We’ll uncover how fear, guilt, and old narratives convince us that growth requires abandonment, when in reality, it requires alignment.

We will discover how stepping into the life God called you to live doesn’t have to disconnect you from the people you love — it simply calls for new boundaries, healthier expectations, and a clearer understanding of your assignment.

Together, we’ll learn how holding onto relationships the right way empowers you instead of drains you. We’ll take our beginning steps in separating who you’re supposed to carry with you from who you’re only meant to pray for. Because purpose isn’t about isolation — it’s about elevation.

As usual, we will examine how changing our mindset can lift us into new, more intentional and impactful heights, allowing us to love our family better without losing ourselves in the process.

  • Episode 32 — “The Lie That We Owe Our Family Our Loyalty”
    2025/11/14

In this episode of "Lies. Changes. Truth." we will be dealing with one of the hardest truths to face — that loyalty to family should never come at the cost of your peace, purpose, or growth. We will uncover how the lie that we owe our family unwavering loyalty has trapped so many of us in cycles of guilt, obligation, and emotional bondage.

We’ll explore how breaking free from unhealthy family expectations doesn’t mean abandoning love — it means redefining it. Because love without boundaries leads to burnout, and loyalty without discernment leads to destruction.

Together, we’ll take our beginning steps in recognizing the difference between honoring our family and being enslaved by them. We’ll learn that true loyalty starts with being loyal to who God created us to be — not who our family demands we become.

As always, we will examine how changing our mindset can free us to live more purposefully, love more authentically, and walk more boldly in truth.

  • Episode 31 -The Compromised Church — When Politics Becomes the New Religion
    2025/11/07

In this episode of "Lies. Changes. Truth." we will be dealing with the spiritual and moral danger of a Church that has traded conviction for comfort and holiness for political alignment. We’ll uncover how easily the Gospel can be compromised when we begin to serve agendas instead of Christ, and how this subtle shift has weakened our witness to the world.

We will examine how the desire for influence and acceptance can cause believers to justify corruption, excuse injustice, and call division “discernment.” We’ll look at what happens when the Church forgets her first love — when politics becomes the new religion, and Christ’s Kingdom takes a back seat to earthly power.

Throughout this conversation, we’ll take our beginning steps in reclaiming what has been lost — humility, integrity, and the courage to stand for truth even when it’s unpopular. Because revival won’t come through policy; it comes through purity.

As always, we will explore how changing our mindset can restore not only our personal faith but also the credibility of the Church. The world doesn’t need a compromised Church — it needs a courageous one that still believes Jesus is Lord, not a political party.
