Liberation Psychology offers an alternative way to empower clients that goes beyond distress tolerance or cognitive reframing. This episode seeks to give tangible tools for clinicians to support clients through “unprecedented times”, while also supporting their own mental health. Objectives:Listeners will gain an understanding of Liberation Therapy, including basic principles and uses.Listeners will explore the rewards and challenges of being a therapist in 2026.Host: Janine Snyder, LCSW is a licensed clinical social worker and Lead Clinical Director at AMK Counseling.
