"This is the Lethal Mullet Podcast!"

330 episodes. And we've finally snapped.

For years I've said The Last Jedi has brilliant ideas buried under baffling choices. This week, I'm not just reviewing it - I'm rewriting it.

This is my full fix-it pitch for Episode VIII. No hate-watch, no fanboy rant - just how you keep Rian Johnson's themes, respect Luke Skywalker, and make the whole damn movie actually pay off into Rise of Skywalker.

It's a celebration of 80's action cinema that occasionally has to stop and fix modern blockbusters. And brother, this one needs fixing.

**IN THIS EPISODE WE COVER:**

* Why The Last Jedi still divides Star Wars 8 years later - and what it actually gets RIGHT * Luke Skywalker: How to do broken, bitter Luke without making him Jake Skywalker * The Holdo Maneuver & The Poe Problem - how to keep the mutiny without making everyone look stupid * Finn & Rose and the Canto Bight detour - keep the message, lose the casino filler, give Finn his real arc * Rey, Kylo & Snoke: My fix for Rey's lineage and why Snoke should have lived * The ending that sets up Episode IX properly - so JJ didn't have to retcon everything

This is how I would have written it. Same runtime, same director intent, just... Lethal Mullet style.
