In this episode I suggest that Letting Go of Guilt is the Second of the
"6 Best Ways to Support Your Child as They Make Their Own Way"
Guilt is only appropriate when you've done something wrong and hurt someone. Everything else is just story, and stories aren't facts.
You can't act in your highest good or for the highest good of anyone else if you're feeling guilt for a story that isn't truth.
If you have guilt, ask yourself if you've actually done something wrong. If you haven't, then the guilt is a result of believing a story - that often isn't true.
I've created a worksheet to help you identify instances where you've felt guilt recently. Completing it will help you see whether your guilt is appropriate or not. If it isn't, you can let go of it! Request the Worksheet, "When Do I Feel Guilty?" here.
I'm offering a free Mini-Assessment of a challenge or situation you're experiencing with your child. Book a free Discovery Call, present the situation and I'll offer a brief assessment of possible underlying issues. Then I'll share how I can support you, or how you can get the support you need. Book the call HERE.
