このコンテンツについて

LEST WE FORGET is a 30-minute video program hosted by Lillian Caudwell on the Passionate World Talk Radio Network. The show delves into historical issues that, though transpired in the past, are often overlooked by the present generation. It aims to foster an understanding of pivotal events in our country's history.
In our inaugural episode, we explored The United States and the Holocaust, featuring a discussion with three hosts. The focus was on unraveling the hows and whys behind the Holocaust, providing an opportunity to delve into the challenges faced by the Jewish Community then and now. Initially structured with three hosts covering contemporary events, religious perspectives, and historical insights, the podcast has seen two hosts depart due to time constraints. It's important to note that there's no singular right or wrong opinion; everyone has the freedom to express their sentiments about past events and the imperative to prevent them from fading into obscurity.

Concluding each episode, Lillian offers a Call to Action or an Action Plan for listeners eager to make a meaningful impact and engage on a broader scale. To participate, simply text your comments, name, and email to 484-364-1032. This serves as an avenue to share your thoughts and potentially connect with one of our hosts for a one-on-one conversation.

  • Sanctuary Cities Lest We Forget Historical
    2025/05/09

In today’s episode of Lest We Forget Historical, host Lillian Cauldwell delves into the origins of Sanctuary cities in the United States—when they were first established, why they emerged as safe havens for immigrants seeking protection, and the principles that guided their creation. Fast forward to today, an executive order from the current administration has redefined the concept of Sanctuary cities, stripping away their ability to provide refuge and reshaping their role entirely.

This order goes further, challenging birthright citizenship, suspending the U.S. Refugee Admissions Program, and declaring a national emergency at the border. What does this mean for immigrants, including those born on U.S. soil? Tune in to explore how these actions impact the Constitution, justice, and the very fabric of our nation. Don’t miss this critical discussion on the shifting landscape of immigration and sanctuary in America.

  • What History Tells Us - Lest We Forget Historical
    2025/05/02

In today’s episode of Lest We Forget Historical with Lillian, we reflect on What History Tells Us about the dangers of distorted narratives. Lillian delves into the infamous Nazi Legend—a propaganda tool Adolf Hitler used to justify the atrocities of WWII. Hitler perpetuated the false belief that Germany's defeat in WWI was the fault of Jews and Western Europe, using this narrative to rationalize invasions, bombings, and the creation of concentration and labor camps.

By twisting the truth through lies, manipulation, and exaggeration, Hitler crafted a version of history that served his own agenda and silenced dissent.Fast forward to 2025, and echoes of this blueprint seem to resurface.

The current political climate shows unsettling similarities to the tactics employed by Hitler and McCarthy, where misinformation and fear are powerful tools. What history tells us is that unchecked distortion of facts can lead to devastating consequences.

As history has shown time and again, its patterns have a way of repeating themselves.Let us not forget — it is only by remembering and learning from the past that we can protect our future.Let us not forget — it is only by remembering and learning from the past that we can protect our future.

  • Lest WeForget Tracking Anti-Protest Laws
    2025/04/25

The current administration and certain states have justified these measures by pointing to instances of violence during Palestinian protests. However, as Lillian examines the language and scope of these bills, it becomes evident that these Anti-Protest Measures are deliberately targeting students, supporters, professors, and academics—anyone who might challenge the administration’s authority or ideology

Throughout the episode, Lillian raises critical questions: Do these bills apply equally to other groups, such as those who stormed the Capitol building, incited by a prominent figure in the administration, convicted, and later pardoned? Or are these measures selectively enforced to silence dissent from those who refuse to conform to the party line?
