    A 16 year old who decided to shoot at a group of people in Alderwood Mall he was having a disagreement with and killed a 13 year old girl who had nothing to do with the dispute was released from jail 24 hours after being surrendered to authorities by his mother. No further court dates set. WA DCYF has suspended all Incarcerations of juveniles at 2 of its facilities due to staffing shortages. Indefinitely.

    The WA Supreme Court has decided a convicted sex offender, one who during one of his multiple arrests, sent explicit images to what he thought was a 14 year old. Turned out to be a cop and he got arrested. The court said he had a rough child hood and deserves another chance. Typical WA, criminals are the victims. Now this one gets to be a lawyer. Other states turned him down but not here.
    SB6316: New tolls for SR 520. That will last 24 years after completion of the construction work they intend to fund.
    SB2099: ID or drivers license's for DOC inmates and illegals in DOC custody. Fully paid for by DOC, well with your taxes.
    SB6069: WA Saves. A State sponsored, mandatory participation retirement savings account - unless you already pay into a retirement account. Any private business with atleast 1 employee must participate.
    SB1391: Statewide Building Energy Upgrade Program. As long as you are going to or have electrical. Upgrades for natural gas or fossil fuel? Not allowed. Oh and no federal funding for you anymore even though federal funding explicitly allows for that.

In the States ever present quest to have no consequences whatsoever for any crimes they have decided its a good idea to remove all the financial consequences for fines committed by juveniles! Once again showing that they are more concerned with criminal well being than victims!
    SB5843: Secretary of State can certify election results if the county refuses to do so. Yes thats right if the state decides the county does not have "cause" whatever that may be, they can certify election results without county approval. The State ultimately wants to control everything here. Truly communist.
    SB5890: People who forget to sign their ballots. This would require the county auditor to call or email any voter who forgets to sign their ballot or their signature doesn't match, and explain to them how voting works and rectify the ballot. They would have 5 days to fix it. Can you imagine the work load this will create and what will it do to time frame for election results?
    SB6157: DACA recipients can apply for civil service positions like firefighting, law enforcement and corrections. They can also have up to 15% added to their test scores! Forget about WA State citizens who need these jobs!
