"Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me..." — Matthew 11:29

Learn of Me takes the questions the Bible answers and studies them with many trusted teachers, side by side. Each episode centers on one passage — then lays the teaching of respected Bible expositors like John MacArthur, R.C. Sproul, Charles Spurgeon, and Chuck Missler next to each other, so you can listen, compare, and learn from them all.

No hot takes. No personalities. Just Scripture, faithful voices, and room for you to grow.

  • How Is Jesus the Tabernacle?
    2026/07/14

In the wilderness, God gave Israel a tent — the tabernacle — and moved in to live in
the middle of His people. But it was never just a tent. Every part of it, the outer
altar, the laver, the lampstand, the bread, the altar of incense, and the mercy seat
behind the veil, was a portrait drawn centuries in advance of Jesus. In this episode
of Learn of Me, faithful Bible teachers walk through the tabernacle piece by piece,
like a treasure hunt where every clue points to Christ. They wrestle honestly with how
far to press each detail, and they land where John lands: "the Word became flesh and
tabernacled among us" (John 1:14). Jesus is the true meeting place of God and man, and
when He died, the veil was torn in two, and the way into God's presence was thrown open.
God always wanted to dwell with us. In Jesus, He did.

  • Why Is Genesis So Important?
    2026/07/09

Genesis means "beginnings" — and it's where everything starts: the beginning of the
universe, the earth, life, humanity, marriage, sin, death, and God's plan to rescue
us. In this episode of Learn of Me, faithful Bible teachers take a flyover of the
whole book, from creation and the fall to Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and Joseph, and ask
why this first book is the foundation the entire Bible stands on. They wrestle
honestly with where believers differ — how to read the days of creation — and they
land where the scarlet thread is first tied: Genesis 3:15, the promise of the seed of
the woman who would one day crush the serpent. The gospel, promised in the very
beginning. As Chuck Missler put it, Genesis answers the four great questions every
person asks: Who am I? Where did I come from? Why am I here? Where am I going?

IMPORTANT (same as before): credit ONLY the teachers NotebookLM actually pulled into
the audio. If it skipped any of the six, remove that teacher's line here AND drop
their row from the episode_sources sheet, so the show notes, the site cards, and the
audio all match. Tell Roy the final list.

  • If God Is Sovereign, Why Pray?
    2026/07/09

If God already knows what He's going to do, why pray at all? It's an honest
question that has quietly discouraged a lot of sincere believers. In this episode
of Learn of Me, faithful Bible teachers gather around that tension — God's complete
sovereignty on one side, His command to pray on the other — and the Scriptures that
hold them together (Matthew 6; James 5:16; Philippians 4:6-7; Ephesians 6:18). What
you'll find is that none of them pit prayer against God's control. They land in the
same place from different angles: we don't pray to inform a distant God or twist His
arm — we pray because Jesus prayed, because He told us to, and because through Him a
child has real access to the Father who works through the prayers of His people.
