The Toronto Maple Leafs are back in action tonight against the Buffalo Sabres, and Dan Riccio, Lindsay Dunn, and Brent Albrecht are getting you set for the Atlantic Division showdown on Off the Roster! The crew dives into Toronto's ongoing defensive struggles, why the issues go beyond just missing Chris Tanev, and the viral clip of Auston Matthews appearing disengaged during Jim Hiller's late-game instructions. Former NHL goaltender and Sabres analyst Martin Biron joins the show at 10:30 AM ET to preview Leafs vs. Sabres and break down what to expect from both teams. The Toronto Raptors are also in the spotlight after ESPN ranked them as the seventh-most desperate NBA team to win a championship. Is there reason for optimism surrounding this new-look Raptors team, or could Toronto be facing another lengthy rebuild? The crew discusses expectations for the upcoming NBA season, the direction of the franchise, and whether the Raptors are any closer to becoming contenders. Elsewhere, the Detroit Red Wings reportedly have zero interest in trading Simon Edvinsson, raising more questions about the team's future and the ongoing Dylan Larkin situation. Plus, the Milwaukee Brewers have the Los Angeles Dodgers on the ropes in the NLCS, and the crew gets into the latest stories making headlines across the sports world!
