In God's Blessing And Life's Blasting, Dr. Michael Youssef shows from the inerrant Word of God that blessing and suffering can stand side by side in the life of faith. The widow of Zarephath had seen God provide daily bread, yet her son died, and her pain turned into fear, guilt, and accusation. Elijah did not argue; he interceded. Alone before God, he cried out with bold faith, and the Lord restored the boy’s life. This message calls believers to repent of trusting their emotions, cling to God’s promises, and pray with holy persistence. Through Elijah, we see how God works to reveal His power and point sinners to the living Christ.

In Little+God=Much, Dr. Michael Youssef shows from the inerrant Word of God that the Lord does not need wealth, status, or human strength to accomplish His purposes. When the brook dried up, God sent Elijah to Zarephath, a place that made no sense by human reason. Yet God was working on both ends: preparing His prophet and reaching a Gentile widow trapped in Baal’s land. Elijah’s obedience teaches believers to repent of unbelief, risk everything on God’s promises, and intercede with bold faith. Through this account, the series reminds us that the divine Christ still calls ordinary people to trust, obey, and proclaim Gospel Truth.

In God’s Hiding Place, Dr. Michael Youssef teaches that Elijah was not a spiritual giant beyond our reach, but a man like us whom God shaped for His holy purpose. From the inerrant Word of God, we see that the Lord used Elijah to confront Ahab’s wickedness, expose the deadly compromise of Baal worship, and call His people away from sin. Yet before greater service came God’s hiding place at Cherith. There, God provided, protected, and prepared His servant. This message calls believers to repent of hidden idols, intercede with faith, obey without fear, and trust the divine Christ who alone saves and sends His people.
