  • S5E5 - Mary Florence Brown and Kelsey Fowler - The Sabrina Carpenter Music Video Spectacular feat. "Tears" and "Taste"
    2026/07/20

Join your hosts, Heather Elaine Abbott and Zoey Danielson, for a very special birthday double feature of Last to Leave! In this extra celebratory episode, we’re diving behind the scenes of two of Zoey’s favorite Sabrina Carpenter music videos: “Tears” and “Taste.”

First up, we’re joined by Art Director Mary Florence Brown (@maryflorencebrown), who helps us unpack all things visual behind “Tears,” one of Sabrina Carpenter’s most striking music videos. We talk about creating a world that feels bold, cinematic, and unmistakably inspired by The Rocky Horror Picture Show, the collaborative process of bringing multiple custom sets to life, and the tiny details that go into making a music video in just mere DAYS.

Then, we turn our attention to the deliciously macabre world of “Taste” with set decorator Kelsey Fowler (@kelseyafowler). From building spaces that feel equal parts glamorous, playful, and just a little bit unhinged, Kelsey reveals how the video’s unforgettable environments came together... with just one or two blocked hallway's at a time.

Two interviews. Two music videos. One very special birthday episode.

So grab your popcorn, put on your favorite Sabrina Carpenter song, and join us for this double feature celebrating two iconic artists who help make Sabrina Carpenter’s unforgettable worlds come to life.
