Lacy J. Dalton: “16th Avenue” and Life on Her Own Terms

Hosted by Frank Gerard

After years on the road, Lacy J. Dalton remembers being told she didn’t have $200 to buy her child Christmas presents. It was a hard lesson in the difference between making records and making a living.

Lacy shares memories of Billy Sherrill, George Jones, and Tammy Wynette, the stories behind her songs, and her work protecting wild horses.
