Lacrosse Colorado is the podcast for the lacrosse community in the Rocky Mountain region, hosted by Andy Lindahl.

Andy has spent more than 20 years on Colorado airwaves. He hosts on Altitude 92.5, calls games as the voice of the Colorado Mammoth, and has covered lacrosse in this state since the early days of the Denver Outlaws. On this show he sits down with the players, coaches and personalities who are living the game: Outlaws and Mammoth pros, college stars from Denver and across the region, and the people building the sport from the youth level up.

The show follows the full lacrosse calendar, from the college season through the PLL playoffs and into the NLL winter, with previews, breakdowns and long conversations you won't hear anywhere else. Field and box, indoor and outdoor, it all gets covered here.

Made for lacrosse fans, players and parents in Colorado who want to hear from the people they root for, not just about them.

  • Pat Coyle on Why the Colorado Mammoth Got Better This Offseason
    2026/10/02

Hey! I'd love to hear your thoughts, send me a voice note.

Colorado Mammoth head coach Pat Coyle joins Andy Lindahl on Lacrosse Colorado to look ahead to the new NLL season and break down why he believes the Mammoth are entering the year as a deeper, more dangerous team.

Coyle also revisits the controversial ending to last season’s playoff run and explains why the league acknowledging the mistake still didn’t completely settle things for him.

Then the conversation turns to what’s ahead.

One of the biggest additions isn’t really an addition at all: Eli McLaughlin is back. Coyle talks about what McLaughlin brings to an offense that already includes Andrew Kew, Jack Hannah, Will Malcom, Dylan McIntosh and a growing group of young players competing for time.

Andy and Coyle also discuss the Mammoth’s defensive depth, additions like Alex Pace and Cole Teipel, what they want to see from Matthew Pelto in year two, and the challenges of building a roster in an NLL that became even more competitive after the dispersal draft.

Plus, Coyle explains how Colorado evaluates box lacrosse talent, why certain Canadian lacrosse hotbeds continue producing NLL players, and why even elite field players can have trouble making the transition to the indoor game.

    In this episode:

    • Patrick Coyle’s reaction to last season’s playoff controversy
    • Why Eli McLaughlin’s return matters so much
    • How the Mammoth offense could improve
    • Colorado’s offseason additions on defense
    • The impact of the NLL dispersal draft
    • Matthew Pelto’s next step as a faceoff specialist
    • How the Mammoth scout box lacrosse players
    • Why field stars don’t always translate to the indoor game
    • What young American players need to do to prepare for box lacrosse
    • Why Coyle is excited to get back inside the Loud House

Subscribe to Lacrosse Colorado for more Colorado Mammoth coverage, NLL conversations and interviews with the players and coaches shaping lacrosse in Colorado.

They discuss why Utah fans love to boo O’Neill, how the Outlaws attacked one of the league’s best defenses, Jared Bernhardt’s explosiveness and Mike Manley’s impact as a teammate and leader.

Then, Bocklet looks back at Denver’s championship history, including the unforgettable 2016 comeback, Eric Law’s legacy and how professional lacrosse has evolved.
