Lavada England is a San Diego–based community leader, mentor, author, and global advocate whose life and work embody restoration, resilience, and emotionally intelligent leadership. A Queen in both spirit and service, Lavada has devoted more than two decades to empowering women, youth, and families to rise beyond circumstance and reclaim their full potential.

As Founder and CEO of House of Restoration Community Connections (HRCC), Lavada leads a grassroots movement dedicated to breaking cycles of poverty, trauma, and limitation through mentorship, education, and restorative community engagement. Her work is deeply informed by lived experience — a journey that began amid profound challenges, including teen motherhood and periods of homelessness, and evolved into a life of purpose-driven leadership. What once could have silenced her instead refined her voice.

Lavada is a licensed substance-abuse counselor whose approach seamlessly blends clinical expertise with empathy, faith, and emotional intelligence. Her lived experience does not merely accompany her work — it anchors it. As community partners and nonprofit collaborators note, this depth allows her to reach women and families with authenticity, compassion, and transformative impact. Lavada often affirms this alignment simply and powerfully: “I am that population.”

Career and Community Leadership

Through HRCC, Lavada has created a safe, empowering ecosystem where women and their children gain practical skills, confidence, and vision for the future. The organization’s mission centers on restorative engagement — strengthening families “one household at a time” through education, housing support, personal development, and business-minded empowerment.

HRCC’s innovative programs include creative and entrepreneurial initiatives such as the “Cover Me Right” fashion empowerment workshop, where participants collaboratively design, create, and auction apparel. These programs cultivate teamwork, creativity, financial literacy, and leadership, demonstrating Lavada’s belief that empowerment must be both expressive and economically viable.

Beyond HRCC, Lavada has contributed to youth enrichment and mentorship initiatives as a producer and collaborator, supporting programs that build confidence, identity, and leadership capacity among young people. Her leadership style is hands-on, faith-rooted, and community-centered — focused not on visibility, but on impact.

The “She’s Worthy” Summit

Lavada is also the visionary creator of the annual “She’s Worthy” Women’s Empowerment Summit, a signature community gathering held each November in San Diego. The summit convenes women leaders, advocates, and families for dialogue, healing, and strategic empowerment. Recent editions, hosted at prominent venues such as the Legacy Resort, have featured panels on self-worth, health, leadership, and community restoration — amplifying women’s voices and fostering collective strength.

At the heart of the summit is Lavada’s conviction that building strong women builds strong families — and that education, dignity, and emotional wellness are foundational to lasting change.

International Recognition & WOHA

Lavada England’s impact has resonated far beyond local borders. In 2024, she received international recognition as a Women of Heart honoree through the UK-based Women of Heart Awards (WOHA). She was formally acknowledged at the London ceremony and featured as a cover leader in WOHA’s Face of WOHA publication.

This recognition positioned Lavada among a global circle of women leaders celebrated for courage, service, and transformational leadership. Her inclusion reflects not only her achievements, but the authenticity and heart-centered leadership that define her work.
