In Episode 3, we introduce the Septuagint—the ancient collection of Greek translations of the Old Testament—and explore how it developed over time and why it sometimes differs from the Hebrew (Masoretic) Text. We then examine how the New Testament writers frequently drew from the Greek translation and why the Septuagint is so important for understanding the early church.
