Staying Faithful in a Dangerous World | Pastor Chris Appleton

How do we remain faithful when the road ahead is uncertain?

In Ezra 8, families, ministers, and sacred treasure travel toward Jerusalem through real danger. They prepare, seek God, guard what He has entrusted to them, and honor Him when they arrive.

Pastor Chris Appleton shares five action steps for a faithful life:

Examine what’s missing.

Humble yourself before God.

Guard what God has entrusted to you.

Move forward in dependence on God.

Honor God when you arrive.

Whether you’re facing pressure, carrying responsibility, or delaying a step of obedience, this message will encourage you to seek God’s help and walk faithfully with Him.

“The road was dangerous, but what they carried was holy.”

Scriptures: Psalm 66:10–13; Ezra 7:10; Ezra 8:15–35; Ephesians 4:11–12; Hebrews 4:14–16.

DRUMS OR DESTINY | Pastor Chris Appleton

What have you allowed to get so loud that you can no longer hear God?

In Drums or Destiny, Pastor Chris Appleton explores the sobering passages surrounding Tophet and the powerful account of Hezekiah and Isaiah crying out to God when Jerusalem faced an overwhelming enemy.

This message challenges us to recognize the voices that drown out conviction, confront compromise, and choose God’s direction over the pressure around us. When fear gets loud, prayer still matters—and God still hears His people.

📖 Scripture references: Isaiah 30:27–33; Jeremiah 7:31–32; 2 Kings 23:10; 2 Kings 19:14–37; 2 Chronicles 32:20–21.
