  • Put God First in a Crowded Life | LIFEchurch Sunday Message | Chris Cary
    2026/10/08

The day fills up quickly. By the time we’ve answered what feels urgent, there may be little attention left for the people we love or our own walk with Jesus.

In week four of The Long Game, Pastor Chris looks at what it means to seek God’s kingdom first in that kind of life. He draws from the apostles’ decision in Acts 6 and the quiet routines of Jesus, then brings the message home to our relationships and the faith we hold on to in hard seasons. The response starts with one practical choice.

Speaker: Chris Cary Series: The Long Game — Week 4 Message: Prioritizing What Matters Most Service date: October 4, 2026 Scripture: Psalm 90:12; Matthew 6:33; Acts 6:1–4; 1 Corinthians 13:2; Luke 4:16; 1 John 5:21

  • Surrender to Jesus and Live for What Lasts | LIFEchurch Sunday Message | Rich Greene
    2026/10/12

Some seasons pass before we’re ready for them to end. Rich begins with a dirt-bike ride that was much shorter than the ones he remembered, then turns to Ecclesiastes and the eternity God has planted in our hearts.

As The Long Game comes to a close, he asks what our lives are really for. Through Jesus’ words in Matthew 16, Rich connects the purpose behind our everyday work with the daily choice to surrender our own way and follow him. The message closes with a simple posture of prayer: open hands, ready for what God wants.

Speaker: Rich Greene Series: The Long Game — Week 5 Message: Living for What Lasts Service date: October 11, 2026 Scripture: Ecclesiastes 3:1, 9–11; Matthew 16:21–26; 1 Peter 4:10–11

  • Your Past Is Not the End | LIFEchurch Sunday Message | Rich Greene
    2026/09/28

“I wish I could go back and do things differently.” Rich says that after talking about words he has spoken to people he loves. A sentence can be over in seconds and stay with us for years.

In Week 3 of The Long Game, Rich reads Philippians 3 with that kind of regret in view. He asks what it would mean to stop letting those moments set the direction for the rest of our lives, and to turn toward Jesus instead.

Speaker: Rich Greene Series: The Long Game — Week 3 Message: Your Past Is Not the End Service date: September 27, 2026 Scripture: Philippians 3:13–14; Romans 5; 2 Peter 3:9; 2 Corinthians 5:17

  • Make the Most of Every Opportunity | LIFEchurch Sunday Message | Rich Greene
    2026/09/21

A conversation at work, time with family, a stop at a convenience store—ordinary moments can carry more weight than we realize. In Week 2 of The Long Game, Rich follows Ephesians 5:15–18 from intentional living to an ongoing relationship with the Holy Spirit.

Together we consider how an eternal perspective changes our priorities, why opposition does not always close a door, and what it means to listen and respond to God today.

Speaker: Rich Greene Series: The Long Game — Week 2 Message: Make the Most of Every Opportunity Service date: September 20, 2026 Scripture: Ephesians 5:15–18; Psalm 90:12; 1 Corinthians 16:8–9

  • Living Today With Eternity in Mind | LIFEchurch Sunday Message | Rich Greene
    2026/09/14

At 52, Rich began meeting with a mentor who told him, “I just want to help you finish well.” Ten years later, that conversation still helps explain what he means by the long game: a life of faith that keeps pointing people to Jesus, even after we’re gone.

In the first week of The Long Game, Rich brings that perspective into the life we’re living now. He reflects on growing older, being renewed in faith, and trusting Jesus with the concerns that can occupy our whole day. The question he asks us to carry is personal: What am I doing with my one and only life?

Speaker: Rich Greene Series: The Long Game — Week 1 Message: Living Today With Eternity in Mind Service date: September 13, 2026 Scripture: Psalm 90:5–6, 12; James 4:14; Ecclesiastes 12:2–3; 2 Corinthians 4:16–18; Ecclesiastes 7:4; 1 Corinthians 15:51–55; Matthew 6:25–33

  • What It Really Means to Be Blessed | LIFEchurch Sunday Message | Chris Cary
    2026/09/08

We say “blessed” so often that we can stop hearing what it means. Chris returns to the blessing God asked the priests to speak over his people and lingers on the thought of God turning his face toward us. That kind of attention matters when we’ve begun to think of ourselves as a failure or feel forgotten.

Through Jesus’ teaching and the prayer of Jabez, Chris invites us to receive God’s care in the season we’re actually living in and to ask him for room to bless others.

Speaker: Chris Cary Message: Redefining Blessed Date: September 6, 2026 Scripture: Matthew 5:3-11; Numbers 6:22-27; Deuteronomy 28:1-14; 1 Chronicles 4:9-10

  • Finding Contentment When More Is Never Enough | LIFEchurch Sunday Message | Rich Greene
    2026/08/31

We keep imagining that contentment is waiting at the next raise, the next milestone, or the moment life finally settles down. The trouble is that “enough” keeps moving.

In Philippians 4:11-19, Paul writes about learning contentment while thanking a church for its generosity. Rich explains why that connection matters: generosity is a practice that loosens greed's grip and teaches our hearts to trust Jesus in seasons of both plenty and need.

This message also returns Philippians 4:13 to its context. The verse does not mean we will always win. It means Christ gives us strength when we do and when we don't.

    Speaker: Rich Greene

  • How to Move Through Spiritual Dryness | LIFEchurch Sunday Message | Chris Cary
    2026/08/24

Jesus told the church in Ephesus that they were still doing faithful work, but they had left their first love. It is possible to keep serving and praying while something inside grows cold.

Chris understands that tension. In this episode, he talks about the season when his prayers felt like they were hitting the ceiling and the spiritual habits that once helped no longer felt effective.

Rather than treating that wall as proof of failure, Chris offers a way to face it honestly, stop trying to outperform it, and let God and trusted people meet us there.

Speaker: Chris Cary Message: Hitting the Wall Date: August 23, 2026 Scripture: Revelation 2:4-5; 2 Timothy 1:6; Psalm 103:2-3; 1 John 1:9; Acts 1:8, 14
