Lake Highlands handled J.J. Pearce 37-9. Next up is the biggest game of district play so far: a Friday night showdown with top-10 Coppell, with first place on the line.

From inside the MAC, Matt sits down with Coach to break down the Pearce win. They talk about the early deep shot to Conrad Ance and how the Wildcats went after man coverage on the outside. Coach also covers the special teams penalties he wants cleaned up before Friday. He gives an update on Thibodeau’s ankle, names the players of the game and shouts out the JV2 squad’s last-minute win over Plano West.

Then it’s on to Coppell. That means Coach Antonio Wiley’s disguised defensive fronts, a quarterback ranked among the best in the 2027 class, and a look back at the playoff meeting between these two programs. Kickoff is 7:00 Friday at the Boneyard. Get there early.
