LETHAL MULLET PODCAST - Episode #326: ARENA (1989) - Man vs Lizard

Tagline: In 4038, the first human in 50 years steps into the intergalactic boxing ring. We watched it so you don't have to... but you totally should.

EPISODE DESCRIPTION: TONIGHT! MAN VS LIZARD!

The Lethal Mullet is strapping on the tactical armor and stepping into THE ARENA - the 1989 Empire Pictures sci-fi cheese classic that asked "what if Rocky was a short-order cook in space?"

We break down Steve Armstrong's underdog run, Quinn's fight stable, crime boss Rogor and his weasely enforcer Weezil (hello future Quark & Gul Dukat), and the final boss Horn the cyborg. Plus practical effects, handicap computers that explode heads, and why this movie is secretly a Deep Space Nine prequel.

If you love VHS-era sci-fi, alien boxing, and mullets that survive re-entry, this one's for you.
