Let the Children Lead | National Children’s Ministry Day
This special Sunday service celebrated National Children’s Ministry Day under the theme:
“Let the Children Lead!”
The heart of the day was simple: children should be given meaningful opportunities to participate in the life and ministry of the church.
Jesus welcomed children and refused to treat them as insignificant.
“Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them…” — Matthew 19:14
Our children were encouraged to pray, worship, serve, participate and use the gifts God has given them.
But the deeper goal is not simply participation.
It is discipleship.
We want to see children come to know Jesus Christ, grow in faith, understand Scripture, discover their gifts and become confident witnesses wherever God places them.
May our churches continue to make room for the next generation—not merely on special Sundays, but as part of the ongoing life of the body of Christ.
