Did you know that you were created on purpose for a purpose? In this week’s message, Ps. Masashi teaches us how discovering our true identity in Christ allows us to overcome fear, step past our excuses, and walk in the great plans God has for our lives.

KNOW YOUR IDENTITY TO WALK IN YOUR PURPOSE

CHOSEN BEFORE CREATION

Jeremiah 1:4-5 NIV

The word of the Lord came to me, saying, (5) "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations."

IDENTITY COMES FROM GOD, NOT FROM OUR ABILITIES

Jeremiah 1:6-8 NIV

"Alas, Sovereign Lord," I said, "I do not know how to speak; I am too young." (7) But the Lord said to me, "Do not say, 'I am too young.' You must go to everyone I send you to and say whatever I command you. (8) Do not be afraid of them, for I am with you and will rescue you," declares the Lord.

Ephesians 2:10 NLT m

For we are God's masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.

LET GOD TOUCH YOUR FEAR

Jeremiah 1:9-10 NIV

Then the Lord reached out his hand and touched my mouth and said to me, "I have put my words in your mouth. (10) See, today I appoint you over nations and kingdoms to uproot and tear down, to destroy and overthrow, to build and to plant."

1 John 4:18-19 NIV

There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love. (19) We love because he first loved us.

YOUR IDENTITY HELPS YOU BECOME BEACON OF HOPE

Jeremiah 29:11 NIV

For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

John 1:5 NIV

The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.

In the darkest moment, he was a beacon of hope and light
