Kirk Ferentz knows exactly what he's doing, and Ohio State just handed him the blueprint. After allowing 199 rushing yards to Illinois — including 113 to a single running back — the Buckeyes' defensive line walks into Kinnick Stadium against the deepest, most physical rushing attack in the Big Ten. We break down why Iowa is going to run the ball at Matt Patricia's defense over and over and over again on Saturday, whether Ohio State's run defense can fix its gap discipline in time, and what it means for the Buckeyes' playoff hopes if it can't.

In this video:
- Why Iowa's four 100-yard rushers (Kamari Moulton, Braden Jackson, Xavier Williams, Nathan McNeil) make this the toughest run-game test Ohio State has faced all year
- Kenyatta Jackson Jr.'s blunt admission that the Illinois performance was "unacceptable" — and what has to change
- Ryan Day's warning that "all it takes is one guy to be out of a gap" against this Iowa offensive line
- How Matt Patricia and Larry Johnson are adjusting the defensive gameplan after Sunday film study
- Why Iowa's own stout run defense (87.8 YPG, 3rd in the Big Ten) means Ohio State can't just abandon the ground game either
- Our prediction for how this trenches battle decides Saturday's game in Iowa City
